Anyway, our boy has just signed a sponsorship contract with SFR, one of the French mobile operators, to be their 'face' in the French overseas departements/territories (for example La Reunion).
Altice, which owns SFR, already has Ronaldo as ambassador for all their brands. Given Dimi's current profile in Frogland, ie The Fucking Messiah, he must have coined it right in here. Hopefully, the fact that he can sign deals like this while playing for us augurs well.

I can't believe any West Ham fan would sell him. Ridiculous.
By the way he said he's had no contact with any club and will probably be at West Ham next season because he signed a new deal, he settled it the league, won the Player of the Year award and basically is enjoying it here.

Our squad would be better next season if Slav spent that and the £30 mil already in the kitty
Lanzini can emerge in Payet's shadow but i cant see anyone spedning anywhere near that much on him. He wouldnt get in Real Madrids or Barca's team either.

For the first time I can remember, we've got a player that a lot of other clubs covet. Not just English clubs, some of the biggest clubs in the world. And they would love to have Payet.
And the best thing is, we have absolutely no reason to sell him if we don't want to.
You build a team around players like Payet. He makes other good players want to come here I reckon.
I bet that new players will specifically mention him as one of the main attractions.
Along with our superb new stadium.

Agreed shoukdnt sell for the joy he brings, the goaks the assists and the confidence he gives to the team.
That said, should a 40 mil bid be dismissed at his age one injury and it can all go tits up. He's at his absolute peak now but in 2-3 years he may not be anything like now.
The business decision would make sense to see, the fan decision clearly not. Thankfully our owners are also fans

Looks like Real Madrid are making a play for Pogba---so Payet won't be on their radar. He doesn't have the right age profile for Barca so I doubt if they'll come calling as they tend to not sign guys in their late 20's. And there's no way we would sell to another PL club/ At least I'd hope not.
Which ;eaves Bayern Munich & PSG as the only likely candidates who could:
a) Afford him
b) Give him CL football and pretty much guarantee medals at the end of the season.

If you read between the lines of what he/club have said he will go
Club said will listen to offers circa 60 mil which means they wud sell for 50 mil ... He has said he is happy at West Ham which is not the same as he will be playing for us next season .. Real Madrid / PSG for 50 mil ' 40 mil profit in 12 months

I'd turn down 75m. He's so influential (saw that November to Jan when he was out), he's LOVED by all fans, team mates and manager.
He scores screamers and has world class assists.
He works hard and seems very humble for a superstar.
He will put us on the map more than some shitty 'London' on the new crest, for sure.
To sum up, he's fucking priceless.

No way, we need to attract top players and selling Payet would make it very difficult to send out the right message to potential top signings. We don't need the money and he will give us huge media around the world which helps the brand. Apart from that he can win us games on his own and he puts a huge smile on all of our faces.

Why not sell him.we could then buy 20 championship players wiv the money, although we could only play 11, I guess, .still sell Sakho and buy Blackburn reserve.. It is the way forward
